Welcome from the ASA Board of Directors

Our school board is dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can achieve academic excellence and personal growth in a safe and supportive setting.

As elected representatives of our community, we are committed to making informed decisions that shape the future of our schools. Our responsibilities include:

  • Policy Development: Crafting and implementing policies that promote high educational standards and equity.
  • Budget Oversight: Ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support student learning and well-being.
  • Superintendent Supervision: Collaborating with and providing oversight for the Superintendent to ensure the district's strategic goals are met.
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Evaluating and approving curricula that meet the diverse needs of our students and prepare them for future success.
  • Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of school facilities to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Community Engagement: Encouraging active participation from parents, students, teachers, and community members to foster a collaborative educational community.

The Allegiance STEAM Academy Board of Directors serves as the guiding force behind our mission to provide a high-quality, innovative education for all students. The Board’s purpose is to ensure that ASA remains a dynamic and forward-thinking learning community, committed to academic excellence, character development, and STEAM-focused innovation.

 

Our Mission

The ASA Board of Directors is dedicated to:

  • Supporting Student Success: Upholding high expectations and ensuring the resources, programs, and opportunities necessary for every student to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Championing Innovation: Driving initiatives that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into every aspect of the educational experience.
  • Engaging the Community: Building partnerships with parents, staff, and community members to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensuring Accountability: Overseeing governance and fiscal responsibility to maintain transparency, integrity, and sustainability in ASA’s operations.

 

Scope of Leadership

The ASA Board of Directors oversees:

  • The strategic vision and growth of ASA to ensure the school meets the needs of its diverse student population.
  • Policies and programs that align with ASA’s mission of empowering students to excel academically and as future leaders.
  • Financial stewardship to secure resources for innovative programs, facilities, and student support systems.

All are welcome to attend the ASA board of directors meetings either virtually or in person.

In Person: Meetings alternate monthly between our ASA Chino and Fontana campuses.

  • ASA’s Chino campus is located at 5862 C Street, Chino, CA 91710
  • ASA’s Fontana campus is located at 7930 Locust Avenue, Fontana, CA 92336
