How to Apply

Applying to ASA is easy.

Allegiance STEAM Academy is a  tuition-free public charter school serving students in TK-8th grade at our Chino and Fontana campuses. Applications for the 2027-28 school year are accepted during Open Enrollment from October 1 – December 31, 2026.

Applications for the current, 2026-27 School Year

Families wishing to submit an application for this current school year for mid-year transfer consideration, may do so using the same steps out lined here. Please be sure to select the correct school year and grade level for which you wish to apply.

How to Apply

Go to asathrive.schoolmint.com

Create an account or sign in to your existing account.

Add your student

Complete an application for each child you would like to attend ASA.

Select your campus

Families may apply to Chino, Fontana, or both campuses.

Submit your applic­ation

For lottery consideration, submit by December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Watch your email for updates from School­Mint

Keep your email address and contact information current so you don't miss important enrollment notifications.

Before You Apply

Create Your SchoolMint Account

ASA uses SchoolMint for online applications and admissions communication. Before you begin, here are a few things to know:

Use an email account you actively monitor.
Create your SchoolMint account using an email address you check regularly. Important updates about your student's application, admission offers and waitlist status will be sent through SchoolMint.

Only a parent or legal guardian may apply.
Applications must be completed and submitted by the student's parent or legal guardian.

Already have a SchoolMint account?
If you previously submitted an application through SchoolMint, you may use your existing account and password. You do not need to create a new account.

Keep Your Notifications Turned On

When creating your SchoolMint account, you may choose to receive email and/or text notifications from ASA.

We strongly recommend keeping both email and text notifications enabled. SchoolMint is used to communicate important, time-sensitive information, including:

  • Admission offers
  • Waitlist numbers and status
  • Waitlist movement
  • Enrollment deadlines
  • Other important admissions updates

If you opt out of email or text notifications, you may miss important information or deadlines related to your student's application.

Proof of Residency

You will be asked to submit a current utility bill dated within 45 days of your application to verify residency and determine any applicable residential enrollment priority that may apply during the lottery.

Check Your Application Anytime

After submitting your application, you can log in to your SchoolMint account at any time to view your student's application status and manage your account information.
